He delivered the statement during a roundtable session at the Business Summit hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC, on Wednesday (February 18, 2026).
Addressing business leaders and investors from the United States, President Prabowo reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening structural reforms and improving the national investment climate.
“Investment will only flourish in an environment that is stable and supported by strong legal certainty. The Indonesian government is fully committed to maintaining both as the foundation of our economic development,” President Prabowo stated.
Strengthening Regulatory Reform
The President highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to streamline regulations, simplify licensing procedures, and enhance governance to ensure a more efficient and transparent investment process.
He also underlined Indonesia’s solid macroeconomic fundamentals, supported by prudent fiscal and monetary policies designed to sustain long-term growth.
