The United States has reportedly launched airstrikes targeting Iran’s underground ballistic missile facilities using B-2 Spirit stealth bombers, according to defense officials.
The operation targeted missile storage sites and launch facilities hidden deep inside underground bunkers and mountain tunnels believed to be part of Iran’s strategic missile infrastructure.

The Pentagon confirmed that the long-range stealth bombers were deployed due to their ability to evade radar detection and penetrate heavily defended airspace. The aircraft are also capable of carrying powerful bunker-buster bombs designed to destroy deeply buried targets.

A U.S. defense official stated that the B-2 Spirit bombers flew directly from bases in the United States to carry out the mission in the Middle East. During the strike, several bombs weighing around 2,000 pounds were reportedly dropped on underground missile installations.

The targets included ballistic missile depots, military command centers, and tunnel entrances used to protect Iran’s missile systems from potential air attacks.

Iran is known to operate an extensive network of underground military complexes often referred to as “missile cities,” which consist of long tunnels inside mountains designed to store and launch long-range ballistic missiles.

Military analysts say the strikes are intended to weaken Iran’s strategic missile capabilities by damaging critical infrastructure supporting the country’s missile operations.

The situation in the Middle East continues to escalate, with tensions rising following a series of attacks and counterattacks involving several parties in the region.

Experts believe the deployment of the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber indicates a precision military operation targeting highly fortified and strategically important facilities.

As of now, the security situation in the Middle East remains fluid and continues to draw global attention due to the risk of a broader regional conflict.
