Prabowo Subianto in Washington DC Reaffirms Two-State Solution, Indonesia Ready to Support Gaza Peace Mission

Metronusanews.id | Washington DC – President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, reaffirmed Indonesia’s strong commitment to the two-state solution in addressing the Palestine–Israel conflict during a press statement in Washington DC.

Speaking to the media, the President emphasized that Indonesia consistently supports the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and views the establishment of two sovereign states as the most realistic and just path toward lasting peace in the Middle East.

“Indonesia believes that sustainable peace can only be achieved through recognition of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and security guarantees for all parties,” the President stated.

He also called for an immediate cessation of violence and the protection of civilians in Gaza. Furthermore, President Prabowo expressed Indonesia’s readiness to contribute to international peace efforts, including diplomatic initiatives, humanitarian assistance, and potential participation in peacekeeping missions in accordance with United Nations mandates.

The visit to Washington DC forms part of Indonesia’s broader diplomatic agenda to strengthen engagement with key international partners on global issues, including regional stability in the Middle East. As the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation, Indonesia continues to play an active role in promoting dialogue and peaceful resolution through multilateral forums.

The Indonesian government reaffirmed that humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza will continue, reflecting Indonesia’s longstanding commitment to global peace and solidarity with the Palestinian cause, in line with the mandate of its Constitution.
